What makes SIDCO-ESP fire resistant?+
ESP is a non-combustible sandwich panel — galvanized steel skin, dense mineral-wool core, and a structural cementitious board. Independently tested under ASTM E119 to a 2-hour fire rating, and detailed throughout for Wildland-Urban Interface Class A construction.
How fast can a home be completed?+
Modules are laminated and inspected indoors over 7–22 weeks depending on scope, then set on a prepared foundation in a single day. Site work happens in parallel — total timelines typically run 14–28 weeks.
Can SIDCO work with outside architects?+
Yes. Most SIDCO homes are designed by independent architects and delivered by certified builder partners. We provide the panel system, factory production, and engineering review — design intent stays with the architect of record.
Where can SIDCO systems be deployed?+
Currently across California, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, and Colorado. Additional Western states open through 2026 as new builder partners are certified.
Are homes permit-ready?+
Modules ship code-stamped and inspected to ICC-ES guidance. Permits are pulled by the builder of record under local jurisdiction; SIDCO supports the package with engineering, fire-rating, and Title 24 documentation.
Is financing available through partners?+
Yes — several of our builder partners work with preferred construction lenders. We can introduce you during the consultation process.
